Your Douglas Diaries will tell you about bomb sniffing bees, and paper that erases itself after 16 hours. But that's just a start. Tune in and hear the weekly monologue which starts the show.
Then...
The New York Times and Bush Critic Frank Rich declares that "We Have Lost In Iraq" and I'm not sure he's wrong. My reasons are different however. The people who had the only true vision of our enemy and what it will take to win this war have now been forced to bow to an American public if they want to have any chance of winning in 2008. Cut and Run is now the theme everywhere.
Iraq's president is denouncing the Baker Hamilton report as well. Meantime, the Taliban is murdering teachers who don't teach kids what the Taliban wants them to....But that's fine. Let's go home.
In hour number 2...
I promised an interview about Iraq Vets and PTSD. I wanted to know what our troops have been through, what they've seen, how they are coping with it, and who is helping them do so.
Our first guest is the founder and CEO of Iraq War Veterans organization. He will talk about his experiences as a veterans' advocate.
Then, Major Douglas Bryan will join us. He was in Iraq and suffers from PTSD. Hear how it's changed his life.
Finally, Andrew Young will talk to us. Mr. Young is a clinical social worker and he will tell us the signs, symptoms, and treatment of PTSD.
