Tonight on the Show...

Superbowl advertising and other facts. An interesting comparison between Superbowl I and Superbowl XL.

According to a Harris poll, about 2 out of 3 adult Americans will watch the game. Another survey estimated 130 million people.

Of the people watching, 92 percent say they like the ads, and for many it's a primary reason they watch the game.

ABC is charging between 2.52 and 2.57 million per 30 second ad. Superbowl I...$42,000.

Sprint paid the NFL a record 12 million to sponsor the half time show.

The amount of time dedicated to Superbowl ads has increased from 36 minutes in 1996 to over 43 minutes of ads in 2005.

One fourth of all Superbowl ad time is dedicated to the network to plug their own programming.

Average ticket price: Superbowl I $12. Superbowl XL $600.

The Lame-Duck halftime show, with a limping Mick Jagger. He was out of breath, out of tune, and there's something not quite right about seeing 60-some year olds with all brown long hair playing in a rock band.

Did you know? The first NFL championship game was January 15, 1967. The Rolling Stones had already had four albums released in America by then.

The Bush eavesdropping policy...Is it a violation of your rights to have a machine listen into your conversation instead of a person?

Plus...How to bomb on a date and bad ideas for Valentine's Day gifts!

All that and more tonight on the Steve Douglas Show!!!
