On the show…

The show begins with a Douglas Diaries including how a car wash killed a man in Michigan, the new twist in the Anna Nicole saga, and why Andy Dick is in trouble.

Then, Miss Teen USA 2007 went off without a hitch, and apparently without any brain power from
Miss South Carolina. If you didn’t hear what she had to say, listen to the show. Thank God she’s on our side!

Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards takes his health care proposal further than the rest. Not only does he advocate for universal health care, but he would mandate preventative doctor visits for all Americans. Is this guy a dolt or what? I’ll discuss just a few of the many problems I see with his proposal.

Finally, a Douglas Show Case Study will tell you about the Connecticut manslaughter conviction of a lawyer who mistakenly thought a neighbor had molested his daughter. The lawyer then fatally stabbed the neighbor, and was recently sentenced to 12 years in jail. Is that enough? I don’t think so. I’ll talk about the larger problem of punishment in today’s society.
